Examples of coaching objectives in the business environment
Supporting the top manager : business ownership transfer, and buyer/seller interaction; strategic and tactical decision-making; overcoming the decision-maker’s isolation.
Important career path changes (assuming a new role or resuming a role, fresh start, business creation, retirement…).
It all starts with a discussion, over an hour or so, free of any commitment, just to understand your requirements and give you some tips. Then, the decision is yours.
The prescribing client may attend this first meeting.
The coaching assignment will comprise 7 to 9 sessions, over a few months. Session will last about one hour and a quarter each, and follow a structured process, which the coach is responsible for.
Often, concrete actions must be taken between sessions.
The last session is an opportunity for the client to assess the work , and to consider “openings” on future prospects.
